"Celebration"
SUNDAY, December 2, 2012 7:00 PM

Our first concert celebrates the extraordinary talent of the WSW featuring the Seton Hill University Faculty Saxophone Quartet and classic works for band by Sergei Prokofiev, Robert Jager and Jan Bach.  Paul Basler's exciting "Carnival" brings this concert to a thrilling finish!

"Revisiting the Classics"
SUNDAY, March 17, 2013, 3:00 PM

Come enjoy these chosen gems of the wind band repertoire, including such standards as Gustav Holst's "First Suite for Band," Percy Grainger's "Colonial Song", and "Introit" by Fisher Tull.  Please join us and hear your favorites!

"A little bit of this, and a little bit of that"
Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 8 PM

We close our 27th season with the music of pilgrims, Pittsburgh, psalms, and patriots! Ron Nelson's "Mayflower Overture" depicts the pilgrim's travel to the New World.  Pittsburgh's own Joseph Wilcox Jenkins is featured in his "Tartan Suite".  Minnesota composer John Zdechlik's "Psalm46" celebrates a famous Lutheran hymn, and we close with the stunningly beautiful "America the Beautiful."
